Cancellation & Missed sessions
I understand that unexpected things can come up, and sometimes appointments need to be changed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible. This helps me offer the appointment time to another client who may be waiting for support.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours of notice) or missed appointments may be charged the full session fee. Thank you for your understanding and for helping me keep appointment times available and consistent.
Insurance
Clients are encouraged to verify their insurance coverage before scheduling an appointment, as each plan may differ in what services are covered.
A receipt will be provided at the end of each session, which clients may submit to their insurance provider for reimbursement, if eligible.
Direct billing through Sun Life is currently in process and may become available in the future.
Payment

Credit card payments can be arranged via Jane app.
Virtual platform: Jane
Sessions are offered virtually via Jane, a secure online platform, to support appointment booking, intake forms, scheduling, billing, and receipts. Jane is designed for healthcare practices and supports privacy-compliant workflows, including HIPAA, PIPEDA, and PHIPA compliance.
Clients may use Jane to book appointments, complete forms, receive appointment reminders, and access receipts. Personal health information is handled with care and in accordance with applicable privacy and confidentiality requirements.
